Mia Tarduno • Artist, Mentor, and Ceremonialist
“Throughout the ever-changing tides of my Motherhood and Postpartum journey, Mia has served as a wise and compassionate guide: holding a trusting and supportive space for me to orient my inquiry work in a soulful, authentic way. Working with Mia has been among the greatest gifts I have experienced.”

Hi, I’m Mia.
The traditional ways of womanhood have shaken my bones since I can remember. Studying anthropology, environmental studies, and dance in college wove together a depth of understanding about how humans navigate and create meaning from their life’s transitions.
Finding work as a birth doula in Ashland, Oregon merges my decades of studies in mentoring, women’s health, yoga, and gathering facilitation into orchestrated offerings that support women and families through one of the biggest transitions life has to offer.
I find joy each day in getting to create the perfect self-care rituals, ceremonies for families, prenatal-yoga sequences, or postpartum nervous system healing techniques. I offer childbirth education in bite-sized pieces and tools for balancing intellect and intuition.
Whether you join me for a workshop, mentorship, or hire me as your birth doula, I can’t wait to curate meaningful experiences for you.
It is my mission is to weave ancient wisdom into the modern world to create lives of harmony and balance.

“I could not recommend Mia more. As a first time mom I had no idea what to expect in labor and despite all the preparation my husband and I did, our labor was nothing like what we anticipated. Having Mia there to support us every month leading up to our delivery as well as being there with us was beyond helpful. I cannot imagine giving birth without her there.”
